Flashback: Vote For Candidates Who Have Good Policies But Not Because Of Celebrity Endorsement, Bridget Otoo Adduce

Ghanaians will be going to the polls Monday December 7. 2020 to decide who will be their President for the next 4 years. The contest is between the two major parties in Ghana which is, The National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the National Patriotic Party (NPP).

Political endorsements is seen by many celebrities and brand influences as one of the major strategies by which political parties uses in winning floating voters.

Following the release the two songs released by Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo, better known as Sarkodie and Ghanaian dancehall artiste Emmanuel Emmanuel Andrews Sammini, known by his stage name Samini to support the National Patriotic Party (NPP) leader Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo ahead of the December polls.

Renowned TV presenter Bridget Otoo has cautioned Ghanaians to vote for candidate who has good policies and not on celebrity endorsement.

The renowned TV presenter took to her twitter handle to write:

Go out and vote for a candidate who best addresses your needs or has the best policies But it should never be based on a celebrity endorsements.  People whose interests are tied to how much they are paid! (700000)

They are no different from the politicians you describe as corrupt
